My first Ppinkydoll project

Hi there,

Today I will show you a card I made yesterday. The image used is "Mily" from Ppinkydolls, She was a freebie I got on Tuesday.

I've always been a bit scared of colouring the Ppinkydoll images, because there's already some shadow on them.

Well, colouring Mily was a pleasure and it just shows, that you have to jump in and just do it. I was pretty happy when I'd finished colouring and I thought I got away with it.

I've used bordeaux backing paper (cardboard) and the top layer is from a 30 x 30 cm paper pad I have. I thought these papers went very well with the colours I used on her.

I added a birthday greeting on bordeaux cardboard and some white pearls to balance the greeting. I was out of bordeaux pearls, but I thought the white ones were ok to put on.

I also added three homemade roses i opposite corners in colours matching the stripes on the top layer as well as the colours used on the image. I'll be running out of my homemade roses soon, so I have to pull my act together and start assembling the next batch, which luckily is ready for assembling. It just take a lot of time to do so.

Well, that was it from me for now. Feel free to leave a message to let me know, if you like my card.

Please join my blog, if you would like to see my projects on a regular basis.

Be happy crafting!
