1st Anniversary Award Night at Kit and Clowder

Hi there,

Yesterday we celebrated the 1st Anniversary Award Night at Kit and Clowder. If the Oscars can do it, so can we! On Valentines day it was Kit and Clowders 1st Anniversary and we certainly celebrated that in style yesterday.

Alyce Keegan had made us a challenge - to make a project for the occassion, and our inspiration should be based upon her collage of Words as to what Kit and Clowder meant to her.

My project in the challenge was a card where I used the colours of Kit and Clowder as my basis. The image I used was "Little Artist" from Whimsy Stamps which I found very appropriate, since we are a colouring community. And lastly I used some of the sayings I've noticed Alyse is using, when she encourages us to go on colouring and not give up, if we don't succeed the first time.

You can see my project below. It's a better Photo  than I put into the challenge (the sun is shining here today).

Alyce liked my project and I was one of the ladies, who were lucky enough to win one of the Clowdies Awards last night. My prize was a free digi from Tiddly Ink after my own choice, so I chose the "Wryn - Have Heart"-digi, which I simply adore.

You'll definitely see me using that one at a later time.

We always have lots of fun during celebrations or other occassions, and this time there also was a free digi from Scrappers Delight and free digital paper from Michele R and a few give aways to be distributed later. Not to mention discounts on colouring classes as well.

Apart from all this fun at Kit and Clowder, we also learn to colour :-D

If you think you need to improve your colouring, there's no better place to learn than at Kit and Clowder. Before Alyce non of our images had noses - they do now!! LOL So go take a peek at her website www.kitandclowder.com and learn about all the benefits you get from joining us.

We are a huge community that support each other both regarding colouring but also in our daily lives, should any of us need it.

Be happy crafting.
