Happy New Year

Hi there,

I wish to send all my readers my best wishes for a Happy, Health and Prosperous New Year.

For myself I wish that 2015 will be a crafty one, where my colouring - through the help of Alyce Keegan and my fellow students at www.kitandclowder.com will improve. I already see some Progress, but there's much room for improvement yet.

Since this is my other "Card making" blog, I'll not get into what wishes I have for other parts of my life. I guess that people who know me personally, already know these wishes.

A fun "challenge" in December was the "surprise thank you party" for Alyce Keegan of Kit and Clowder.

I don't think that Alyce is ever sleeping, she seems to Work all the time at encouraging us students to colour the best we can and to practice and improve. Every step of colouring is documented by colour along videos, there's practice sheets and a booklet to document everything also. A huge effort has gone into making this material. And on top of this, Alyce herself evaluates every photo uploaded for feedback. I can only recommend http://www.kitandclowder.com  if you feel you need some colouring lessons.

The Spring Bling Wryn class is FREE for everybody who's a member of  https://www.facebook.com/groups/kitandclowder/, and that's a really great start to improve your colouring. So go join a fabulous group of incredibly helpful and encouraging ladies.

We all sincerely appreciate all the work Alyce does for us, so Mari Kocjancic of the Group created a secret Group for us participating in the fun - and we had lots of fun, I tell you. We had some fantastic sponsors of everything going on, and a bloghop was arranged for Alyce as well.

Unfortunately I was unable to participate in the bloghop, but I did make a Card for Alyce and I'll show it in here to you, when I know, that Alyce has received it.

I will now move on to show you a Card I made for another fun "challenge". Betty's husband (from the Simply B Stamps group) had his 50th birthday on December 25th. Betty asked for a secret card from the members of the group, and if we were going to send him a card, she'd provide the digi/sentiment to be used for the card. This is my contribution to his birthday:

Since his birthday was so closely connected to the Christmas Holidays, I made it a combination using the digi "HubbybdayBetty" and a Christmas backing paper + poinsettias. I also had a small sticker with the date of his birthday on, so everything matched nicely.

Well, that's it for now.

Be happy crafting!
