Colour palette challenge contribution

Hi there,

Here is my "Green Moth Maiden" from the colour palette challenge at Kit and Clowder. She's was a free digi from Ching-Chou Kuik to the contestants in the challenge.

I don't think I'm going to win the challenge, and that's OK. I really enjoyed using the new techniques of skin and hair, that I'm learning at the moment in the Skin and Hair classes at Kit and Clowder and it's great practice.

We had a colour palette that we were supposed to use of turquoise/purple nuances, and I love these colours, so I was very happy colouring her.

Yesterday, a friend and I visited a wonderful craftshop in Denmark called Hobbygården about an hours drive from my home, and there I found the wonderful backing paper. (They have absolutely everything for papercraft - except the markers).  Immediately I saw it, I knew it was perfect for the Green Moth Maiden.

I also bought the big light turqoise flowers there. The Photo doesn't do them Justice, they match the backing paper more in real life. I thought that it would be more suitable with a little bit bigger flowers than my usual roses, so I had to buy them. They were in a bag with other coloured flowers as well, so it was a good buy.

I had a few turqoise star pins, which I added and a turqoise felt heart as well.

I have a few more project finished, but they are waiting to be sent, so I cannot show them before they have been received at the other end :-). Isn't that exiting?

Hopefully I'll be back soon to show you other finished projects.

Be happy crafting!
